From planning to ongoing operations — On-Premises, Hybrid or Fully Managed
ICSL goes beyond delivery — we plan, build, configure and operate your secure communications infrastructure. We integrate leading European platforms — BlackBerry, Secusmart, Ardaco, Teamwire and others — taking a vendor-neutral approach tailored to your requirements.
Requirements analysis, rollout planning and workshops — tailored to the scale and security classification of your project. We typically deliver a complete Silentel solution within 2–4 weeks.
Three server components — Communication Server, CA-Server, Operator Studio — deployed on your hardware, in virtualised environments or in air-gapped installations. Certificates and key material remain under your control.
Integration with existing systems, bespoke adaptations and custom editions — the solution fits your processes, not the other way round.
If required, ICSL takes care of maintenance, monitoring and operations — including a dongle server service for virtualised environments.
Updates, upgrades and new releases for all platforms (iOS, Android, Windows) — delivered several times a year and included in your maintenance agreement.
A support portal, remote service days and dedicated contacts — in German, English and other languages.
Encrypted voice, video and file transfers place different demands on your infrastructure from email and web browsing. A faulty network node may go unnoticed when browsing — but becomes immediately apparent on a voice call. ICSL checks how everything works together before your users do.
A video conference with five participants uses around 10 Mbit/s — add a single file transfer and that rises to 30 Mbit/s. An encrypted transfer of a large file alone uses 60–75 Mbit/s. Planning capacity for voice alone can lead to surprises later.
Your technical team has its own policies — multiple firewall layers, traffic shaping, shared uplinks. All perfectly valid. But not every policy is compatible with real-time communications. ICSL checks how they interact before rollout — not only when something goes wrong.
One customer reported highly variable voice quality. Analysis of all call logs revealed packet loss exclusively during office hours, affecting both participants in the same way — whether they used Wi-Fi or mobile networks. The cause lay in the infrastructure's network path, not in the app. Evidence from patterns, rather than guesswork.
Switching networks during a call, new app versions, changes to firewall policies: what runs smoothly today may encounter problems tomorrow. ICSL retests after updates, analyses logs and maintains an issue tracker for each customer — so small issues do not have major consequences.
Your technical team receives the training needed to take full responsibility for operations. At ICSL, complete operational independence is not an optional extra — it is the goal.
Your technical team — or a local company you nominate — receives comprehensive training during rollout, covering operations, maintenance and user management.
Training and workshops continue after delivery — on site or remotely, as new features or teams are introduced.
You operate your system independently and reliably. ICSL remains available in the background — with maintenance, a support portal and multilingual support.
Choose according to your requirements for control, responsibility and budget: On-Premises (the entire infrastructure in your hands — maximum sovereignty), Hybrid Managed (your infrastructure, operated by ICSL — you retain control of your data), Hosted (your own instance, operated by ICSL in a high-security data centre) or as-a-Service (ready to use, with no in-house IT required).
